Blue Mountains Three Pillars Award Winner

Our First Three Pillars Award Winner in 2013

4 March 2013

We wish to congratulate the first winner in 2013 of the Blue Mountains Hotel School, ‘Three Pillars Award’, Nicoline Karlsson.

Nicoline was nominated along with fellow students Hector Reyes, Mexico; Harry Tran, Vietnam; Rebecca Dahler, Australia; Oat Sitalasai, Thailand / France; Mariana Trejo, Mexico; Mengting Tao, China and Scott Cooper, Australia which really shows the international mix of our students and the competition to win this award.

The selection process is completed by both the Academic personnel and Student peers across the campus to choose person whose performance in Academic Achievement, Professional & Personal Growth and Practical Skills Development has attained the level of ‘excellence’. Each of these key elements form the assessment criteria of the 3 pillars of Blue Mountains International Hotel School to pick the best performer for the month.

With both the study body and academic team selecting the winner it adds greater weight to the achievement, when both groups recognise how high a level of performance has been attained.

Studying in Sydney or Leura at the best hotel management school in Australia and Asia Pacific provides an excellent foundation for students wishing to build a career in hospitality.

BMIHMS proactively recognises student achievement and acknowledges it through awards of this nature. We furthermore, work hard with every student throughout every element of their course to instill the highest standards of performance, which will see them grow and succeed in their career.

Well done to Nicoline!
