Sydney, November 14, 2013

Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS) reaffirms its ranking as the No. 1 Hotel School in the Asia Pacific and Australia region for preparing students for an international career in hospitality management. The rankings are the result of a survey of senior managers from top international hospitality companies around the world, conducted by industry market research firm Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) Global, the world’s largest provider of custom research and analysis.

“We are very pleased with the results of this survey which speaks loudly about the quality of our academic programs and the strength of our graduates. We are providing the industry with passionate professionals, who possess managerial and service-oriented skills second to none,” said Guy Bentley, CEO of BMIHMS. “As the industry continues to grow and Asia Pacific becomes not only a center for business and travel growth but also a source of tourists to the rest of the world, BMIHMS creates opportunities for students to become industry leaders and shape the way hospitality is evolving in the region and abroad.”

This survey was conducted in May and June, 2013. The primary purpose of this survey was to establish the relative ranking of the various hospitality management schools in Asia Pacific / Australasia from which managers from international hospitality companies are likely to recruit staff and to determine the top international hospitality management school in this region. An online survey was delivered to an extensive worldwide employer database. The potential respondent database was comprised of more than 50,000 hospitality managers working in more than 80 countries.
