The Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School at Torrens University (BMIHMS) will greet Tammy Marshall as the feature panelist for its next Leadership Speaker Series (LSS).
On Wednesday 1 March at 4pm, Tammy Marshall, Managing Director and Founder of the B Hive, will share her experiences and discuss future trends in the hotel, hospitality and tourism sectors with current BMIHMS students.
Tammy’s career ambition is to enable global companies to pivot, transform and capitalise on rapid growth opportunities. With over 25 years’ experience in travel and tourism, Tammy has a proven track record in establishing strategically aligned brands, cultures and operating models that exceed revenue and targets, year-on-year.
From an early stage of her career with Contiki to Tammy’s previous role with TFE Hotels she has been drawn to challenging, complex roles that require a progressive and change-oriented leadership style to forge paths toward new territories and markets. Tammy has played a leading role in propelling the travel and tourism sector into its current stage of dynamic modernisation, most notably through her success in launching and embedding experiential travel as a globally relevant offer.
The LSS provides a forum for hospitality professionals to discuss current trends within the sector in an open Q&A forum to give students the chance to gain greater insight into potential future career paths from those leading the field.
Previous panelists include world-renowned dynamic hotelier and restaurateur Loh Lik Peng, Founder and Director of the Unlisted Collection, BMIHMS alumni Andreas Breitfuss, General Manager Catering & Hospitality Services, ANZ Stadium and most recently Rachel Argaman, CFO, TFE Hotels.
