Hospitality is a global industry, and we acknowledge that many potential students come from countries where English is not the first language.
For those students who would like to improve their English language skills to get the most out of their hospitality management degree, or those who do not initially meet our English Language entry requirements, we offer an intensive English Language Program (ELP) at our Leura Campus, run by our pathway partner, the Academy of English (AOE, CRICOS Provider Number 02399M).
The goal of the ELP is for students to improve their English by IELTS 0.5 for each 10-week block.
Teaching is fun and interactive, and during the course, students stay with local families close to Campus, which also allows them to practice their spoken English on a regular basis.
Progression to the Blue Mountains Hotel School Bachelor of Business degree courses is dependent upon attaining IELTS 6.0 academic or equivalent.
